Plastic bags, cigarette butts, styrofoam snack boxes, fishing nets and glass bottles are the main types of beach garbage. The average number of beach garbage was 0.80 pieces per 100 square meters, of which plastic garbage was the most, accounting for 66%. Polystyrene foam, paper and fabric waste accounted for 8.5%, 7.6% and 5.8% respectively. The total density of beach garbage was 29.6 grams per 100 square meters, and the density of wood products, polystyrene foam and plastic garbage was the highest, 14.6 grams per 100 square meters, 4.3 grams per 100 square meters and 3.5 grams per 100 square meters, respectively.
