Forming performance

1. Amorphous material, with moderate fluidity and high moisture absorption, must be fully dried. Plastic parts with a glossy surface must be preheated and dried for a long time at 80-90 degrees Celsius for 3 hours; 2. It is advisable to use high material temperature and high mold temperature, but if the material temperature is too high, it is easy to decompose (the decomposition temperature is>270 ℃). For high-precision plastic parts, the mold temperature should be set at 50-60 ℃, and for high gloss and heat-resistant plastic parts, the mold temperature should be set at 60-80 ℃; 3. To solve the problem of water marks, it is necessary to improve the fluidity of the material by adopting methods such as high material temperature, high mold temperature, or changing the inlet water level; 4. If heat-resistant or flame-retardant materials are formed, plastic decomposition products will remain on the surface of the mold after 3-7 days of production, causing the mold surface to shine. It is necessary to clean the mold in a timely manner, and increase the exhaust position on the mold surface; 5. The cooling speed is fast, and the mold pouring system should follow the principle of being thick and short. It is advisable to set a cold material hole, and the gate should be larger, such as a direct gate, a disc gate, or a fan-shaped gate. However, internal stress should be prevented from increasing, and adjustable gates can be used if necessary. The mold should be heated and wear-resistant steel should be used; 6. The material temperature has a significant impact on the quality of plastic parts. If the material temperature is too low, it will cause material shortage, surface dullness, and silver wire disorder. If the material temperature is too high, it is easy to overflow, resulting in silver wire dark strips and discoloration and foaming of the plastic parts; 7. Mold temperature has a significant impact on the quality of plastic parts. When the mold temperature is low, shrinkage, elongation, impact strength, bending, compression, and tensile strength are high. When the mold temperature exceeds 120 ℃, the cooling of the plastic part is slow, it is easy to deform and stick to the mold, it is difficult to demould, and the forming cycle is long; 8. The molding shrinkage rate is small, which is prone to melt cracking and stress concentration. Therefore, the molding conditions should be strictly controlled during molding, and the plastic parts should be annealed after molding; 9. The melting temperature is high, the viscosity is high, and it is not sensitive to shear action. For plastic parts larger than 200 grams, a screw injection machine should be used, and the nozzle should be heated. It is advisable to use an open extended nozzle, and the injection speed should be medium to high.
